First day on the job! This is Mickey, they're "lap dog". Wasn't the best day of my life... but God was definitely watching over me! I thank him that the accident was not worse than it was and grace was so evident. I know that God was in control of this situation.

These children in this village were very timid and fearful of us at first, but after a fun time of field day games they finally warmed up to us. Our visit was worth more to them that words can express.

This little girl Fiona broke my heart. She is slowly dying from HIV AIDS and she was very quiet because she was so sad. I prayed over her and asked God to overwhelm her with love, hope and healing. We gave her a necklace and told her she was beautiful and she finally gave us a smile!

After 36 hours of traveling, we finally made it to our Hotel in Uganda and this is how we feel!! We got to ride in the big planes that I've always seen in movies. We started in the morning and because of the time differences, we arrived in Amsterdam in the morning, then arrived in Africa really late at night. We went through a few days really quickly with the time difference!
