I thought REI was having a garage sale, but it turns out only the one in Denver is. Sadly, I got there early and no one was there. Good news, I got my dads Christmas present out of the way!

Love my new Kindle!!! Reading has become one of my favorite things to do post-grad because it keeps my brain sharp and gives me something to own! Also the past few days I've been listening to podcasts and I love soaking up the knowledge.

December 1, 2015

It has been almost a year and a half since my last post. I would say that now I am the same person, but with a very different day-to-day and a much different perspective on life. I have been tested and tried. There has been laughter and tears, joy and grief, assurance and anxiety, love and hate. If I have learned one thing in this time (besides that God is so very faithful) it is that you must choose joy. It is a choice at its very core and does not sway with the circumstances around us. If you don't believe me, or in the power of choosing joy, I urge you to try it.
